I lied-I did one more painting of leaves-I like the effect of the leaves coming out of the dark. I am experimenting with new surfaces and the road down to the river near the marsh is on a board with gesso and pastel pumice-very rough interesting surface to work on but really limits alot of detail-perhaps that is good! I also have just about finished the lotus painting -I am going to try my teachers suggestion and do a four panel painting of one picture-more to come on that....
